Ceramic Dinnerware Set
Driven to create pieces with their own personality, Greek ceramicist George Vavatsis works on a potter’s wheel to transform clay, stoneware, or porcelain into one-of-a-kind tableware and artworks. What motivates him is the endless possibilities of form, function, and color and above all – a love of making. Paying homage to tradition while adhering to a more contemporary aesthetic, George handcrafted a range of functional ceramics. Following a minimal and slim geometrical approach, the collection is characterized by a delicate off-white color, and a smooth or slightly dotted surface, while each piece is wheel-thrown using light stoneware. George’s work organically evolves through deep immersion in the making process, allowing him to create a natural effect.

Handmade Brass Set
Inspired by ancient Greek vessels and arches, while focusing on thoughtful design, Greek-Dutch architect and designer Anna Rosa Moschouti is behind the well-crafted collection of contemporary tableware exclusively made for the Greek Foundation. An elegant set of a candle holder, a vase, and 4 coasters made of brass was carefully designed to make a stunning statement in any minimalist tablescape. Her work’s values lay in clean designs, fair processes, and sustainability. Therefore all the materials she uses are sourced from small Greek, family companies.

Handwoven Rug
Drawing inspiration from Greece’s rich and diverse cultural heritage, textile designer and weaver Meropi Ververi creates pieces that combine tradition with a modern aesthetic. Her work is a celebration of natural and local materials, as she works on a traditional loom. Creating a visual play between symmetry and asymmetry, Meropi handcrafted a one-of-a-kind rug, inspired by the deep-rooted notions of balance and geometry that have shaped the global cultural sphere. Crafted from a cozy blend of cotton and acrylic, this hand-woven rug softens up any space with a natural, off-white base and a geometrical pattern of black lines. Craft, creative spirit, and human hands are at the heart of the first textile work added to the collection, exclusively made for The Greek Foundation.

Accessories
The signature candle is handmade of 100% natural soy wax in a small village on Corfu island, Greece by an environmentally friendly brand named CHOE. Its spicy scent coming from centenarian, evergreen cedar trees meets the intense, fresh, and sharp scent of lime into a hand-poured, ethically made product. Soy wax is all-natural and made from soybeans oil. It is completely biodegradable, a resource that can be replaced at a rate comparable to or faster than the rate of consumption.
The Greek Foundation tote bags are made from 100% cotton-canvas in a classic beige color. The collection is printed with the classic TGF logo and a variety of Greece-related quotes. TGF tote bags come with long handles and a bottom gusset.
